Ingram MARC records

If you are a new Ingram customer, or an existing customer that has not yet retrieved MARC records from this vendor, you will first need to have your account configured. Please open a ticket with cataloging@midhudson.org and include your Ingram account number in your request. MHLS staff will work with Ingram to set up your MARC record profile.
 

Once your account has been configured, please follow the directions below to transfer your order records to the MHLS catalog.

  1. Log in to your Ingram iPage account. 
    Click the “Lists” link in the menu bar in the upper right corner of iPage

  2. Locate the list for the order you want to work with.
    For the “Choose Grid Template” dropdown menu, select the appropriate location code for this cart (Adult, Children, Young Adult) and click the “Apply template” button.Screenshot of Grid template options showing Adult, Children, and Young Adult templates
  3. Click the “Download” button for that cart to go to the download pageScreenshot of ipage showing the Download button
  4. In the download options, the two menus should say “Download & Keep” and “Custom MARC EAN Format”
    If “Custom MARC EAN Format” is not the default option for the second menu, you’ll need to make the following adjustment:
    Click My Account go to Change Settings In the sectioin called “Selection List Option Preferences” change the dropdown menu for “Download Format” to “Custom MARC EAN format”
  5. Click the “Download List” button, and save the file to your computer.
  6. Attach downloaded file to an email, and send to cataloging@midhudson.org
    If placing multiple orders, you may attach several files to the same email.
    MHLS cataloging staff will load the order records into Sierra, and reply to your email to confirm that the files have been loaded.
